What is Dialstation?
Dialstation is a phone service that provides you with a cheap way to make international phone calls with your mobile.
Why should I use Dialstation?
One important reason is that using Dialstation allows you to save up to 95% of your phone costs.
What do I have to do to use Dialstation?
You only need to sign up and keep your account balance above zero. To get started you can read the Sign up How to.
I would like to call a number just once. Is this possible?
Not yet, but you will be able to trigger phones calls via SMS shortly.
Payments
How do I pay for Dialstation?
Dialstation is a prepaid service. You deposit money into your account using one of the payment possibilities below. The money is yours until you use it. You pay only for the minutes you talk. There are no connection fees or hidden charges.
At the moment there are only 3 payment possibilities.
Call Modes
What is Callback and when does Callback apply?
Callback applies only if you use Dialstation from outside of Germany.
When you call the PDN it will hang up on you, the system will recognize your number, call you back and connect you instantly to your destination.
How does Calldirect work and when does it apply?
Calldirect applies if you use Dialstation in Germany.
When you call your PDN you are directly connected to the destination number. It sometimes takes a moment, and you do not always hear a ring tone.

Dialstation also provides you with the possibility of triggering calls via the kompanel.

What is a PDN?
A PDN is a local phone number, which you should save in your telephone. Calling that number connects you directly to your destination number.
How can I get a PDN?
You will receive your first PDN automatically when you sign up for Dialstation. The PDN connects you to the number you have put in the form on our website. Once you have signed up you can get a PDN by going to the start process. Another way to set up a PDN is when you login to your account, you can click on Contacts, and on the bottom of this screen you will see a field where you can add a new number and the description. To save the new number you have to click on add right below. You will now see an information screen, which gives you your PDN and the information on how much it cost to call your destination.
Problems
I just set up a Dialstation account, but I can't make calls. What should I do?
Please check your account balance, which you can find in the right top corner when you are logged into the kompanel. When it shows you a zero then Dialstation won't work. To correct the problem you can either send us an email asking for some FREE test credits, or you can add to your account balance by using one of the 3 payment possibilities.
It's important to unblock your Caller ID on your mobile service when using Dialstation. Please check if you have done so. Dialstation recognizes your Caller ID, just like when you call someone and they know it is you. If your Caller ID is blocked, Dialstation won't work.
